All out to the court for Mumia!
Dear Friend,
This is the moment of a lifetime. Please show up if you can on January 17th in Philadelphia for Mumia. Mumia's attorneys, Judith Riter, Samuel Spital (NAACP), Bret Grote, and Robert Boyle, will be holding the District Attorney accountable for providing answers to discovery in Mumia's criminal conviction case. The discovery has been ordered by Common Pleas Court Judge Leon Tucker. This is the door that opens to freedom. Mumia's appeals could be reinstated and critical issues of innocence, prosecutorial and police misconduct could be exposed.

Mumia's health worsening. Call now to demand that Mumia receive an independent medical exam!
I just came back from a visit with Mumia at S.C.I Mahanoy. Right now, Mumia is ill and his health is precarious. The call from the movement is to demand that Mumia receive an independent medical exam.
In the wake of our groundbreaking efforts that secured Hepatitis C treatment for Mumia in 2017 after two years of medical neglect, Mumia is currently experiencing the same debilitating symptoms - including worsening skin conditions - that put him in intensive care in March 2015. His vulnerability to this condition has been caused by the substandard treatment he received at SCI Mahanoy and from Correct Care Solutions during the last three years.
Although Mumia has received the anti-viral medication to cure Hepatitis C, it is past due for an independent medical exam. Correct Care Solutions, the for-profit contracted "health care" provider, and the PA Department of Corrections cannot be trusted to get the job done. Now it is time to demand that independent doctors are able to diagnose and treat our brother.

¡Mumia sigue en la lucha! ¡y nosotros siempre con él!
El amor
Queridos hermanos, hermanas, camaradas, amigas y amigos,
¡A movernos! Al reunirnos hoy, somos ejemplos vivos de un movimiento realmente notable. Un movimiento para la vida, liberación, resistencia. Y sí, también para el amor. Hemos luchado para todo esto durante años. Y luchamos para esto hoy mismo.
Pero permítanme decirles algo. Su amor para su hermano, para mí, me mantuvo salvo y sano durante casi 30 años en el corredor de la muerte. Que sepan esto. Durante todo ese tiempo, nunca me sentí solo.
A simple vista, estuve solo, confinado en solitario, en el corredor de la muerte. Pero el ojo realmente no puede ver todo, porque detrás de los ladrillos y el acero, sentí su amor, a veces como una ola, a veces como un murmullo, pero siempre estuvo ahí, siempre presente.
Y cuando ustedes, la gente, nuestra gente, me sacaron del corredor de la muerte, aún lo sentí en el aire, como la fragancia de una flor, como su aroma.
Y cuando me caí en un coma, sin conciencia, ustedes estuvieron ahí a unos pocos metros, literalmente llamándome de regreso a la plena consciencia. De regreso a la vida, a la salud, a la fuerza.
Espero que sientan mi amor y gratitud por todo lo que han hecho y todo que nosotros haremos. El amor engendra el amor. Y mientras marchamos adelante, este movimiento se vuelve cada vez más fuerte. Día con día.
Gracias. Gracias a todas y todos ustedes por estar ahí. Nos estamos moviendo. Los amo a todos y todas.

La Salud de Mumia
La SCR esta preocupada por la salud de Mumia. Estamos atentos y alertas. Responsabilizamos a al estado yanki y a todo su aparato represor por el deterioro de la salud de Mumia. ¡Exigimos la inmediata libertad de Mumia!
Ayer Fue la marcha protestando por la salud de Mumia:
For three months U.S. political prisoner Mumia Abu Jamal showed signs of diabetes. He was examined by prison doctors multiple times with blood drawn three times in February alone, yet the diabetes was not diagnosed until he was taken to an outside hospital after fainting in the prison with blood sugar near diabetic coma levels. After a couple of days, he was sent back to the care in the same prison that put him at death’s door.
This is a call for all concerned people to join in urging that the Department of Justice intervene in this crisis situation facing Mumia Abu-Jamal and his family. He may be facing an immediate challenge of life or death.
The DC Day of Action for MumiaI is part of the broader Nationa Day of Action for Mumia.
We will gather first in Freedom Plaza at noon, then march to rally in front of the U.S. Justice Department, 950 Pennsylvania Ave NW.
